Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete (formally Campbell Concrete & Materials LLC) company is seeking qualified Sales Operations Analyst located in our Katy, TX Office.
Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete operates 18 ready mixed concrete plants throughout the greater Houston area. With more than 180 mixer trucks and nearly 300 dedicated employees, Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete has provided a quality ready mix product for over 50 years. This position provides commercial and operational analysis related to customer activity, market intelligence, and logistical efficiency at a local level with a hands-on approach for Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete. This position will be the central point of contact for digital initiatives between IT and the business. Reporting to the Vice President / General Manager of Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete, the Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting both Sales and Operations teams. This position appraises operating performance in terms of KPI’s, trends, market analysis, Digitalization/Transformation efforts, sustainable revenue, operating policies, and increased profit opportunities. This role indirectly reports to the Sales Manager and Sr Operations Manager of South Texas Concrete.
What you’ll get to do:
Supports annual & quarterly budgets and monthly forecasts.
Monitors and analyzes operating results against budget and past performance.
Pro-actively prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
Performs special studies, analyses, and reporting at request of Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete business leaders.
Develops relationships and acts as resource to Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete.
Support business with ongoing process change and business improvements.
Set Standard of Excellence
Provide commercial and market intelligence support in the following areas:
Market share tracking
Market share projections
Competitor analysis
Market segment trends
Support MMP planning
Support training and marketing efforts around sustainable and digital upselling
Liaison between the operations, IT, Command Alkon and other entities on digital projects, including:
Mobile ticketing
Material Management implementation and support
Customer margin analysis
Customer relations management software
Mobile app support
Logistics including Command Assurance and Connex
Support as needed for other digitalization efforts
Provide leadership support for SAP implementation in the areas of:
Subject matter expert
Employee training
Progress reporting
User experience
Support Quality Control and Sales on Environmental Product Declaration (EDP) marketing and tracking
Local website management for Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete
Proactively engages in the health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's safety performance
Actively involved with Heidelberg Materials South Texas Concrete Community events
Who we are looking for:
Accounting, business, or related degree with experience in analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Strong analytical, communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools; SAP and Essbase experience is preferred.
