  • Serve as an advisor to PMUH for aircraft systems and IVHMS.
  • Support onboard aircraft testing and analysis of software and hardware functionality.
  • Provide subject matter expert input for review of Army technical publications related to IVHMS integration.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft signal problems and assist owning military units in solutions. Provide input regarding IVHMS component locations and functions for UH-60 design as a member of the Airframe and Electrical IPT.
  • Monitor UH60 design space claim to make sure no interference with IVHMS components. Review IVHMS related drawings and schematics and submit corrections to schematics as necessary.
  • Participate in Software Integration Review Board processes to evaluate existing onboard aircraft system processes and techniques for continuous improvements.
  • Develop policies and procedures to maximize benefits of the HUMS system installed on legacy UH-60 aircraft.
  • Satisfy customer expectations through general support in the areas of troubleshooting, data and documentation, training/hardware knowledge, and system analysis.
  • Serve as a member of UH-60 IVHMS Integrated Product Team (IPT).
  • Provide subject matter expert input for review of Army technical publications related to IVHMS integration.
  • Define available signals on UH60 for IVHMS data collection.
  • Provide written and verbal assessments to management regarding status, issues, and risk.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
