Job Description
Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide senior level development and design the implementation process for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargers consistent with Pilot's business objectives. Work closely with internal teams to maximize returns through developing retail pricing strategy for electricity at Electric Vehicle charging stations.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement process for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargers
Provide subject matter expertise related to U.S. Power markets
Develop, own, and manage the retail pricing strategy for nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations
Identify new electricity supply and optimization strategies to maximize value from chargers
Lead development of internal tools, models, and frameworks to track and develop costs and pricing strategies
Work with Policy Team on developing pricing policy and rate design issues for EV chargers and rate cases as needed
Work with legal team in drafting, negotiating, and executing any bespoke supply agreements
Communicate project progress, barriers, risks and needs to EVCI / Pilot Management
Recruit, lead, and provide daily oversight, and set priorities of analysts responsible for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargers in line with Pilot's business needs and goals
Coach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews.
Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Provide other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in US Power markets either in trading, supply, or optimization role
Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience required
Specialized Knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of wholesale power markets, utility rate design and power market fundamentals

Travel
- Overnight travel required up to 35%, depending on location
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
General office work requiring sitting or standing for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and odd hours as needed
