Description
We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. If you thrive with minimal supervision under tight deadlines, you might be the accounting professional we're searching for this Bookkeeper role. What you get to do every day
Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Regulate Accounts Receivable
Maintain monthly accounting close
Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Summarize business license and gross receipts
Enter budget transfers
Formulate cash flow projections, as needed
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Iron out subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
More tasks as requested
Sustain Accounts Payable
Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
2+ years of related experience- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Strong organization skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
General ledger experience highly desired
Monthly Financial Statements experience preferred
Project accounting experience
Strong familiarity with journal entries
Solid understanding of Deltek
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
