McLane Sr. Inventory Control Clerk in GUILDERLAND CENTER, New York

Monitors inventory levels ensuring that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse. Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Notifies manager if levels are low. Get paid fast. 401(k) with annual company match. Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more!ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Monitors stock levels and customer demands.Performs daily stock counts.Resolves complex problems and discrepancies in timely manner.Trains less experienced teammates in Inventory Control.Dispositioning non-conforming product and file claims with Quality Assurance.Continuously ensure preparedness for internal and external audits.Acts as backup to other department teammates.Ability to communicate/present inventory updates at meetings.Other duties may be assigned.MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED.4 or more years work experience in inventory controlMust be able to lift 10-50 pounds.Knowledge of complex warehouse and inventory control procedures.Experience with Excel, Word, Access and inventory control systems.WORKING CONDITIONS:Office and Warehouse EnvironmentCandidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
