Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer II for our Golden Valley, MN location.
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will create programs, manufacturing instructions, and identify/design tooling for new or existing product lines.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Create, modify, and update fabrication processes for production
Research and specify equipment to replace or upgrade production capabilities
Design fixtures and tooling for prototypes and production
Work with a team to develop PFMEA’s, Control plans, and detailed work instructions
Manage multiple projects at different product stages
YOU MUST HAVE
U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
3 years of experience with design, production, and experimentation in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated understanding of machining concepts involving tooling and process requirements to meet design requirements
Experience designing prototype & production fixtures and tooling
WE VALUE
Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
Experience with computer assisted drafting/design programs (Solidworks preferred)
Ability to review a design for manufacturability and provide feedback with proposed solutions
Experience transitioning components and processes from research and development to manufacturing
Experience designing fixtures and tooling
Experience with PFMEA’s & process qualification activities
Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
Experience training and mentoring technicians
CNC machining experience
