Job Description

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware updates, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

Maintaining current knowledge, understanding of security, and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of Network Engineering experience

Comfortable installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, wifi, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, SAN)

Strong Layer2 & Layer 3 troubleshooting proficiency

Environment: Cisco, Palo Alto, ESXi, SAN/NAS

Aptitude with general network security principles

Good understanding of the OSI model

Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team

Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week in North Fort Worth, TX Any network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto, etc.)

Strong SAN/NAS storage understanding null
