Actalent Quality Engineer in Erlanger, Kentucky

Description:

The Process Quality Engineer will be leading a team with responsibilities in process/continuous improvement as it relates to the quality department.

Responsible for:

  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities

  • Lead team of 2-3 employees by teaching and directing on process improvement projects

  • Performing root cause analysis to uncover necessary corrective actions for product defect

  • Communicating with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues

  • Collaborating with peers and leaders to have a congruent team and processes

  • Initial focus in the fabrication department, with a future goal of working with the machine shop/machining department
