Job Duties and Responsibilities
This role will be onsite in Englewood, CO
DISH is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support our operations team with data-driven insights that lead to actionable decision-making and executive decision support. This is a critical role that will report financial performance to executive leadership, build monthly forecasts, monitor and improve profitability, and support business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the quarterly financial review of business performance including operational metrics analysis, variance analysis, and report publication
Review line of business financial performance and provide recommendations to corporate executives
Present results, analysis, and recommendations to executive leadership
Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts with efficient and insightful analysis
Analyze and investigate monthly variances to help determine root cause and impact on forecast
Perform ad-hoc analyses related to cost-savings opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives
Participate in cross-functional teams providing financial insight and guidance as pertains to performance management of field operations
Identify key areas of reporting and process automation
Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and tools to support business initiatives
Create sensitivity analyses to isolate impact on critical variables
Develop scenario analyses to consider alternative decision paths and related impact
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting
3+ years’ experience in month-end financial reporting, budgeting, and variance reporting
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of Google Workspace applications
Candidates with demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with a need to achieve
High level of energy and intelligence necessary to thrive in a Fortune 200 company
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Commitment to accuracy and quality
Ability to adjust to new, different, or changing requirements while maintaining a sense of urgency
Preferred Skills:
Experience in public accounting
Experience with OneStream or similar FP&A reporting tools
Financial modeling experience
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
