Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Platform Manager to support our DePuy Synthes business.

Role Purpose:

  • Execution of platform/speciality marketing plans, to maximize brand profitability and market share.

  • Focused sales force activity to drive delivery of sales execution plans aligned to regional marketing plans.

  • Partner with the sales team to drive sales development in key accounts.

  • Analyse and improve top and bottom-line performance of speciality platform portfolio.

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and connections with targeted societies and KOLs to drive partnership initiatives.

  • Drive sustainable product portfolio growth and management of pricing strategies within speciality to drive positive price, volume and mix.

  • Congress/society responsibility

  • NPI Launch, acceleration and adoption.

  • Completion of the Business Planning (BP) Cycle and Tool aligned with the BP Calendar

Qualifications

Experience, skills and competencies:

  • Experience in sales or marketing roles

  • Experience influencing sales teams to drive results

  • Multiyear experience in the UK healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong understanding of the NHS & private healthcare market

  • Ability to lead through change

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a complex list of projects to completion

  • Experience in medical device product launches

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional matrix to successfully deliver objectives to time and budget

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and individually

  • Strong track record of successful engagement with clinical & non-clinical stakeholders

  • Experience of successful project management/leadership

  • Awareness of NICE and other types of Health Technology Assessment

  • Ability to synthesise scientific information into messages easily understood by non-clinical and clinical stakeholders

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Awareness of market access challenges and solutions

People Effectiveness:

  • Proactively develops marketing, commercial, market access, procedure and product knowledge

  • Has the ability to interact with numerous and various stakeholders: local and internal (sales & marketing, commercial organization, EMEA), local and external (agencies, NHS & Private Hospitals Managers/Marketing Managers)

  • Influences effectively at all levels of the organisation and external to J&J and obtains buy in to ideas by understanding stakeholder requirements and effectively addressing them

  • Has a creative flair and is able to make complex information easy for others to understand

  • Can manage multiple demands, with a systematic approach to prioritisation and organisation of resources

  • Key Relationships:

  • Clinical and non-clinical stakeholders throughout the NHS/Private Sector

  • WW/EMEA marketing / UK/Ire Leadership team / UK/Ire Key Opinion Leaders
