nVent Electrical Design Engineer in Dzierzoniow, Poland

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Prepares technical documentation required for production - electrical diagrams, material list, wiring documentation, assembly instructions and testing instructions.

  • Prepares assembly instructions and schematics using an EPLAN/CAD program.

  • Creates the electrical/electronic parts of the BOM. Prepares documentation in accordance with the cabinet construction process and the recommendations of IEC standards.

  • Performs standard tests as well as additional prototype tests if required.

  • Responsible for all issues related to the integration of the prototype, in particular for safety, quality, efficiency, timeliness of work and costs.

  • Involvement in all activities related to the prototype and its implementation into production.

  • Creates technical specifications, manual and maintenance instructions

  • Prepares project cost calculations

  • Work in a multidisciplinary team during all phases of the project. Cooperation with project managers, production preparation engineers, design engineers, quality engineers, buyers, planners and logistics.

  • Work in accordance with the company's main principles of: safety, quality, on-time delivery, standardization of used components and minimization of costs.

YOU HAVE:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Completed studies at the Faculty of Electrical or Electronics of the University of Technology, supported by work experience as an electrical engineer.

  • Over 2 years of experience in designing electrical installations. Practical ability to design wiring and electrical installations.

  • Work experience with design of electrical diagrams supporting software EPLAN Electric P8, or SEE Electrical Expert

  • Experience in designing and assembling electrical distribution and control systems, prefabrication of low voltage switchgears.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of issues related to the design and production of cable harnesses

  • Knowledge of the issues of electrical integration of cabinets, and experience in certification of products for Ex/ATEX hazardous areas.

  • Knowledge of English at a level enabling fluent communication in a multilingual team.
