JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment

• Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications

• Support the work with continuous improvements of maintenance and cost optimization.

• Support in subcontractor issues

• May establish standards and policies regarding pollution control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.

• May research and recommend purchase of new equipment and systems..

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field

• 2-5 years of related work experience

• Experience working within manufacturing facilities and equipment

• Ability to work independently with general supervision

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Strong communication skills

• Willing to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
