Installation, Configurations and upgrading of server software. Establish and maintain backup recovery procedures and policies. Database design and implementation. Implement and design database security. Upgrading databases from one version of oracle to higher version. Configuring standby database and recover/roll forward the standby database. Perform database tuning and performance monitoring. Setup and maintain documentations and standards. Perform technical trouble shooting. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Specialization in: MS SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Migrating databases, Fine Tuning of Databases. Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Two (2) years of the aforementioned five years of progressively responsible experience must have included: MS SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Migrating databases, Fine Tuning of Databases.
