Within our 600-person Roswell manufacturing facility, we are seeking a Senior Supervisor - Quality to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels! The Senior Supervisor - Quality provides guidance and direction to the Quality department employees and supervisors. Make informed decisions pertaining to product quality, department safety, and department efficiency across multiple teams that support one specialty in a product line. Monitors all aspects of the assigned specialty product within the Quality department including product testing, equipment operations, and employee actions. Manages product inventories and schedules employees to meet production needs. Builds an effective employee team by engaging, mentoring, and developing direct reports. This position is responsible for training new team members in food safety, personal safety, GMPs, SQF requirements, CCPs, and sanitation requirements.

Leadership * Plans and schedules daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency and ensure production needs are met. * Leads and coaches team employees in Quality Department by implementing programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development in order to ensure peak employee engagement and productivity. * Directly manages Quality Supervisors. * Builds and fosters strong working relationships, collaboration within their team and a positive work environment. * Reinforces company and plant policies fairly and consistently. * Ensures team employees have completed all required training. * Responds to employee questions and concerns. * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships. * Executes standards for safety involvement and accountability in the department and leads by example

Quality * Executes the sanitation program effectiveness to ensure food safety standards are met in the department. * Communicate directly with plant personnel to follow up on customer issues (complaints, audit responses, customer queries, etc.) * Timely & accurate flow of information and proper root cause analysis (and solution implementation) occurs. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships that include two-way communication and feedback loops.

Production * Supervises the daily Quality shift operations to ensure production standards and quality parameters are set. * Ensures the plant effectively executes policies, procedures and systems established by the Corporate Quality organization in the areas of Quality and Food Safety, Customer interface (including approvals, specifications audits, product evaluation and conformance protocols, and customer complaints and follow up) analytical and performance testing methodologies, and purchase quality control.

Safety * Executes the Quality Department s safety program to ensure a safe working environment. * Provides employees with the training, equipment, and tools to be able to safely perform their jobs. * Executes standards for safety involvement and accountability in the department and leads by example

Financial * Monitors team operations and makes recommendations for labor and anufacturing efficiency, cost savings and quality improvements. * Manages against the Quality Department s financial performance goals..

Minimum Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor s degree in food technology, food science, dairy science, microbiology, or chemistry or related field or similar work experience in related industry * 6+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing environment, additional education may substitute experience where applicable * 1+ year of progressive leadership or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: * Production management experience in the food industry, preferably in Dairy, with intimate knowledge of and passion for quality methods and techniques, including HACCP concept for food safety, quality assurance
