Description:

An established Operation & Maintenance (O&M) solar company is seeking an experienced intermediate level O&M technician for their O&M work at an existing Solar Plant in Dateland, AZ. Operations & Maintenance on an existing solar site. Preventative & Corrective Maintenance. The Technicians will have about 10% office duties (in a building at the site) and the remainder out in the field.

Seeking 3 levels of candidates: Junior which is more entry level ($22-30hr), intermediate which is the job description below ($30-$37hr), and Site Lead which require 1-2+ year of solar O&M experience ($38-$46hr). Pay rates are dependent on levels of experience and interview. Must be willing and open to driving to Dateland, AZ without addtional compensation.

Additional duties: 

• Follow all Health and Safety policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace

• Complete routine safety documentation before every job including tailgate meetings, electrical work permits, etc.

• Technical troubleshooting & preventative maintenance activities to maximize performance/production

• Energization/de-energization procedures

• Follow & implement LOTO plans & procedures

• Interpret schematics and blueprints

• Quality assurance checklists and inspections to document deficiencies and identify corrective actions needed

• Follow OEM specific maintenance requirements in addition to company standards and industry best practices i.e. NETA MTS, CSA Z463, NFPA 70E, etc.

• Daily digital reporting and documentation of all work performed

• Work in a team-based environment and independently whereas necessary

• Participation in on-call weekend services on a rotating schedule

• Identify and provide feedback to issues and ongoing development of projects

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ensure spare parts inventory is organized and clean

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Solar and Solar O&M experience would be a huge plus

• Would consider a candidate with strong experience in similar field (wind, oil & gas, etc)

• Must be electrically & mechanically inclined

• Must have some computer skills and administrate competency

• Must be reliable

• Must be willing to travel to TX first week for safety training (all expenses paid & also paid for the hours at the training)

• Must have clean record & driving record (will have access to vehicle while on site)
