Job Description
For more than 80 years, Safran Seats has been a premium manufacturer of First and Business Class seating systems for passenger airlines. With the largest seats portfolio of all seats suppliers, we pride ourselves on innovation, customization, quality and industrial design.
Safran Seats GB, based in Cwmbran, South Wales is a 100% owned subsidiary of Safran Seats and we currently have 800+ employees (across 3 sites in the UK- Cwmbran, Newport and Brackley).
The Head of Quality Transformation is responsible for the roadmap development, implementation and leadership of the quality improvement and transformation plans and QUA governance rhythms supporting the VP Quality Working cross-Functionally across Safran Seats GB Ltd and in liaison with sister Business Units in France and the US.
In addition, the incumbent will oversee a number of local improvement initiatives from concept to delivery across processes, systems and people.
This role will be leading and coaching the staff in driving an effective improvement journey.
Lead and champion strategic initiatives to drive organisational change, utilising industry-standard change management frameworks

Member of the Quality leadership team
Personal mastery over driving organisational excellence – utilising transformational leadership approaches and methodologies
The role focusses on people and organization to establish and develop a Quality culture
Communicates with and presents information to Senior Management and cross functions in SGB
Responsible for leading the strategic projects across all Quality functional teams
This is cross functional focussed on project deliver and cultural change so an adaptive and servant leadership style is expected Interaction with customers and suppliers as required
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Experience, Training and Qualifications
Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering / Manufacturing related discipline.
Lean / 6 Sigma knowledge and general improvement tools
Experience in aerospace (or similar) quality processes and procedures including QRQC and APQP
In-depth knowledge of Aerospace Regulations eg EASA, FAA, AS9100 etc
