Janssen Sciences Ireland is located in Cork, Ireland, and we are currently seeking a Snr Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snr Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most reputable companies in the healthcare industry and play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for appropriately staffing and developing the Quality Assurance organization to meet business needs and succession plans.

Provides leadership and direction to the Quality and Site Management Teams to ensure business, quality and compliance goals are met following the J&J Standard of Leadership behaviour model.

Active member of the Business Unit Leadership Teams.

Provide leadership to quality team and the site through:

• Develops and champions an interpersonal culture that promotes behaviours that lead to outstanding business performance and interpersonal excellence.

• Encourages, supports and advises initiatives and programs that lead to improved quality and improved regulatory compliance.

• Leads and guides staff and those involved in quality activities to achieve the best results

• Mentors and coaches staff, as well as develops and implements training programs, to ensure professional and personal development of department personnel.

• Ensures all employees align with all applicable J&J and governmental (HPRA, FDA, etc.) regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years plus experience in a leadership position within the biological and/or pharmaceutical industry.

• Advanced degree required in a scientific or engineering field

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the healthcare industry

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless results

• Ambitious and driven, with a track record of successfully implementing quality improvement initiatives

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

• Desirable: Eligible for inclusion on the site manufacturing license as Qualified Person
