We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic part-time intern to join our team. The intern's responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills of our existing technologies, performing technical assessments and providing recommendations, completing tests and assignments, as well as delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders. You should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible. To be successful as an intern, you must have great time management and communication skills; and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure of our Microsoft Desktop and Server teams. Job Duties: This role requires interaction with multiple colleagues, customers and vendor support, which may be face to face, over the phone, or via e-mail. The varied tasks to be carried out by the intern include: Non-Technical Building professional relationships with colleagues and customers. Attending meetings and offering suggestions for improvement. Positively receiving feedback. Working in the office and remotely as required. Assisting within the relevant teams, but also learning about other aspects of the organization. Keeping a log of everything learned with expectation to present at the end of internship. Ability to work in fluid, fast-paced and exciting environment. Technical Assess and learn existing Ivanti Neurons technologies in order to provide training to support staff. Investigate M365 product availability and develop plan for recommendation of implementation of new product(s). Active Directory administration: creation of organizational units, group policies, and security groups for testing purposes. Windows Server Administration: Gain an understanding of server installation and configuration, server roles, file, print, and web services. VMware: acquire the knowledge to design, configure and support virtual systems Routine administration of day-to-day processes. Job Qualifications Pursuing an associate degree in an Information Technology or related discipline. Good time management, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. A growth mindset and passion for learning. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
