CHIEF OF POLICE

The City of Colorado City is seeking a Chief of Police. The applicant must possess experience in budgeting, supervision, criminal investigations, case management and community relations with the ability to maintain an effective and highly motivated department.

Applicant must be TCOLE certified with a minimum of five years experience in law enforcement. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass an extensive background check. Relocation to Colorado City will be required.

Starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, 14 holidays. The city provides health, dental, vision and life insurance as well as TMRS 6% (2-1 match).
