  • Internally maintain, review, audit, and enforce enterprise security controls on a number of enterprise applications
  • Conduct technical interviews with subject matter experts, project managers, and other specialists
  • Utilize provided information to review security-related controls, documentation, policies, standards, guidelines, working instructions, and procedures to ensure they comply with FISMA/FedRAMP criteria, departmental guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and other processes to ensure compliance with our enterprise security documents
  • Create documentation for new security solutions
  • Review software systems to assess and document compliance with FISMA/FedRAMP criteria
  • Assist with other cyber security related duties as assigned

[To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

  • BA/BS in Cybersecurity or related field from an institution considered accredited by the U.S. DOE, with a 3.2+ GPA
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Ability to obtain security-related certifications (CISSP, CISA, etc.)
  • Experience with well-known information security-related tools (Nessus/OpenVAS, Metasploit, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of FISMA/FedRAMP and SOC security frameworks preferred
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to relay technical information to clients and users in layman terms
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work within a team
  • Ability to maintain a level-headed attitude and communicate with diplomacy and tact when addressing issues
