Accounting Specialist candidates will be interested in this position at a reputable business, where they will handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). What you get to do every single day

• Use knowledge of expenditure codes and accounting codes to accurately code documents

• Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources

• Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

• Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable

• Post financial information to journals and ledgers

• Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts

• File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable

• Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned

  Requirements - Ability to multitask effectively

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Solid understanding of Weekly Payroll

• Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
