Eaton Corporation Director Integrated Business Planning & Execution EMEA (Location: Flexible in EMEA) in Budapest, Hungary

What you’ll do:

We are pleased to announce that Eaton is looking for a Director Integrated Business Planning & Execution EMEA (IBP&E), location flexible in EMEA. The future Executive will be leading the IBP&E function, this role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of the business planning and execution processes across 3 main areas:

  1. SIOP: E nsuring an effective med to long term planning process is deployed across the business, all 5 steps of the process to be effectively deployed to provide as accurate a possible med to long term view to enable effective plans to be made to ensure capacity for future growth. This includes ensing an approach to ensure inventory optimization across the organisation.

  2. E2E Planning & Execution Across Value Streams: Establishing the network value streams and the associated network planning organisations. Ensuring effective interfaces and linkage across the horizons from SIOP, to Network Planner to Operations.

  3. CoE Approach: Establishing and developing a CoE approach covering operational procurement, material planning and order management that support the E2E networks.

Responsibilities

  • The role will be responsible for setting goals and driving the results of the E2E for metrics across the entire set of value streams, inventory, delivery etc., and delivering a consensus plan for the region as the leading input for the financial forecast.

  • Establishing and developing the IBP&E leadership team and the sub-functions of SIOP, Network Planning and CoEs, diving and being overall accountable for the E2E metrics across the various networks in the short, med and long term time horizon.

  • Ensuring we maintain the appropriate levels of focus on the long-term planning horizon to ensure we have accurate forecasts that can be a solid basis for planning the right capacity levels in the network, and focusing the execution teams on the short terms actions required to maximise sales and profitability.

  • Ensuring effective cadence of reviews, deploying standard reports and deploying an analytical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis with effective corrective and preventative actions.

  • Running, approving and escalating scenarios using the available planning tools (Kinaxis) to ensure optimal approach to maintain sales and profit targets.

  • Developing and deploying a process to ensure the clear levels of decision authority supported buy a suite of key performance indicators that create accountability and drive behaviours that deliver value for the customer.

  • Providing a coherent consensus plan for all locations covering demand, supply & inventory which is used as the leading input for the business to prepare the financial forecast. The incumbent will play a critical role in explaining the assumptions behind the forecast and helping to explain performance variances.”

  • Being a change agent to effectively ensure companywide adoption of the IBP&E process by ensuring everyone understands this is the single way in which planning will be managed across the entire business. And specifically coaching, training and developing all involved functions including sales, financial, product line management and supply chain.

  • Maintaining strong working relationship with sector/Corp materials and technology teams to develop automation and continued enhancements in support of the IBP&E process. Specifically, in terms of leading the deployment of E2E business planning tools.

  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the IBP&E process using a combination of leading & lagging indicators and process audits to identify and execute continuous improvement actions.

  • Identifying improvement opportunities through benchmarking and other means to drive improved customer service levels while minimizing inventory investment and support continuous improvement of the IBP&E process.

Qualifications:

  • Masters' Degree

  • 15+ years in relevant role

  • E2E Planning, SCM, CI, Project Management

  • Change management, thought leadership, ability to work in matrix, results oriented, process minded, customer orientated, coaching, influencer

  • Lead a team with scalable size

  • Extensive experience in SCM leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a multinational setting

  • Proficiency in SIOP software and advanced data analytics tools

  • In-depth knowledge of global supply chain management, international logistics, and regulatory considerations

  • Deep understanding of P&L along with working capital management

  • Excellent presentation skills & stakeholder management
