AC Infinity Construction LLC Project Engineer in Boonton, New Jersey

• Work with Project Management team to Bid/Purchase and estimation of construction projects.• Gather, analyses, and prepares detailed total cost information to maximize cost-effectiveness during the construction process.• Maintaining accurate and thorough company records, Preparing RFI’s, submittals, Change order and production of construction documents. • Maintain and Update Project Schedule i.e., distributes overall project schedule monthly, take necessary action to maintain or improve project schedule, also change the overall schedule, and keeps current on weekly job site work activities and involve the on-site crew with scheduling the upcoming activities. • Ensure all project correspondence is promptly distributed to appropriate parties in a timely manner.• Help project management team to prepare survey reports. • Attend weekly construction meetings and Coordinates with Accounting Department on owner billings and project related accounting issues such as invoices, pay application, contract execution, Waivers, and certificates of insurance. • To ensure Quality/Control of the Project. • Maintain Good Relationship with Owner/Client. • Manage punch list and closeout items at completion of project including legal requirements. • Perform frequent and regular site safety audits, training, and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA policies as well as those of the appropriate governing bodies.Education: U.S. Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management. Graduate Coursework to include, coursework in Construction Methods and Cost Estimating (3 Credits); Construction Plan and Scheduling (3 Credits); and Construction Site Operation (3 Credits).Experience: 1 year of experience as a Civil Engineer, Site Engineer, or closely related job occupation.Experience to include, 1 year of experience in: estimation of construction projects, scheduling, maintaining, and updating projects and coordinating the subcontractors.Travel The only travel required is when the Applicant relocates to unanticipated client locations anywhere in the U.S. for long-term assignments.RelocationMust be able to relocate to unanticipated client locations anywhere in the U.S. for long-term assignments.
