Position Summary:

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the Master Data management implementation of a selected domain such as material, customer, or vendor with the goal of helping the organization leveraging data as an asset. This includes developing data lifecycle management processes and recommending best practices in data management policies and solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in navigating within complex organizations, creative problem solving, and rational experimentation including the ability to elicit cooperation from variety of stakeholders including peers, subordinates, and management.

This position is part of the global Master Data Management organization and located in Berlin / Düsseldorf / Geneva / Loveland or any other Hach site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Responsible for developing, improving, and harmonizing global and complex Data lifecycle management processes and policies applying MDM and Governance best practices.

  • Develop and conduct standard work, communications, and training to inform key stakeholders of processes, contacts, roles, responsibilities, project updates and performance metrics.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators to track the MDM program’s effectiveness, regular analysis to ensure data complies with global best practices and standard procedures including the implementation of countermeasures.

  • Oversight and stewardship of Master data creation and maintenance

  • Use of SQL to obtain data and run advanced analytics such as statistical modeling, pattern recognition or AI techniques to analyze large sets of data to identify patterns and uncover opportunities. Use these insights to then make aggregated and cohesive recommendations and execute cleansing and de-duplication projects including coordination with IT and stakeholder alignment.

  • Own and drive end-to-end process documentation while looking for opportunities to implement best practice industry and international standards as appropriate.

  • Establish a global team of experts / data owners and act as consultant.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS degree in Data Science/Economics/IT/Engineering or comparable

  • Min. 3 years of successful experience in Master Data or data management

  • Solid business acumen and understanding of key business processes and business applications such as ERP, CRM, PLM (e.g., Oracle EBS/Fusion, Salesforce CRM/ CPQ, Agile PLM)

  • Solid experience in Data Science, Modelling & Automation (e.g., Python, SQL) and a demonstrated mastery of MDM, governance concepts and best practices.

  • Experience leading implementation of master data management in one domain (e.g., customer) on a global scale.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000/year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay .
