Amazon is looking for an experienced candidate to work with our largest Global Systems Integrator (GSI) to grow and scale Amazon Web Services business working with our joint customers. As a Senior Partner Development Manager you will have an exciting opportunity for defining and driving the go-to-market strategy for Accenture’s global and local business from India.

In this highly visible role the Senior Partner Development Manager will be responsible for a network of GSI executive relationships to deliver on global initiatives with visibility to executive leadership. The role will require working across AWS products and the GSI partner to identify and provide guidance on areas for improvements that directly contribute to the growth of partner practice revenue.

The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to manage joint GTM efforts and to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales executives. While business oriented, the position requires a strong domain knowledge and the candidate will have a detailed understanding of leveraging cloud technologies to drive customer support innovations with AWS services.

You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A track record of helping establish new business via focused incubation mechanisms and then broad partnerships is also important for this role.

Key job responsibilities

• Work with a GSI partners to define and execute, or refine existing joint sales and go to market (GTM) programs to ensure maximum customer relevance and channel success

• Work with GSI partners to be an advisor, who can relentlessly evangelize key messages and new service features to all constituents/stakeholders within the GSI’s

• Engage, train, and standardize sales motions across the GSI’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities

• Broker and oversee dialogs between assigned GSI partners and the Amazon Service Teams to drive and maintain highly constructive working relationships

• Take ownership of and report upon a global initiatives with visibility to executive leadership position is based out of India.

Basic Qualifications

  • • 10+ years of sales, consulting, partner management or business alliance development in the enterprise software and/or cloud space

  • • Experience developing GTM plans to drive outcomes with measurable results.

  • • Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.

  • • Strong writing skills

  • • Business background to build, drive engagements and interact at the executive level.

  • • Ability to prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience driving growth within a GSI/SI organization with Software as a Service or other cloud-based technologies

  • • Highly motivated, possess a strong sense of ownership

  • • Exceptional organizational skills, high integrity and accountability

  • • Ability to present positioning and messaging clearly

  • • Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.

  • • Experience with sales enablement activities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
