We are seeking a talented Industrial Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing their creative abilities and technical skills, particularly in the realm of human-centered design. As an Industrial Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative baby-gear from ideation to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Application of consumer insights into innovative design solutions across a multitude of media.

• Ability to participate in programs that require direct contact with consumers through participation of qualitative research.

• Work closely with Engineering to develop product specifications and validate prototypes.

• Conceptualize and develop new products having an average level of difficulty and complexity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.

• 3 -5 years of relevant experience preferably in human-centered design products.

• Available for light travel if needed.

• Excellent visual and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working in a cross-functional environment.

• Design Fundamentals Able to demonstrate design process awareness through research, drawing, rendering, form development, color and materials theory, mechanical awareness, and model building.

• Surface Development Capable of developing CAID models, basic knowledge of SolidWorks a plus.

• Study Models Ability to build prototypes. Working knowledge of materials and properties to achieve desired results. Soft-good experience/exposure a plus.

• Digital Design Tools (Working Knowledge). Full Adobe Creative Suite understanding. Working-knowledge of emerging technologies and digital visualization tools.

• Materials and Methods (Basic Awareness) Undergraduate level knowledge of common product materials and their manufacturing process.
