What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI seeks a Senior Technical Trainer with 5+ years of experience to support a large contract in the Washington, DC, area. An IT Technical Trainer will provide full life-cycle training support. This includes the initial development and execution of a service desk onboarding training to ensure all staff are adequately trained to execute Tier 1 IT tasks. In addition, candidates will provide initial client training consultation to assess training needs for new technology rollouts and development of training material using a variety of mediums and training presentations (e.g., web-based or instructor-led). This candidate will ensure that the overall knowledge of the self-service portal remains accurate and updated to date as technology and application changes occur.

This position requires at least 3 days on-site in Arlington, VA, when not conducting training sessions.

More About the Role:

  • Design, implement, and oversee the onboarding training for all new Tier 1 Service Desk Staff

  • Attend customer meetings and participate as needed in new Technology IPTs by providing functional knowledge of the program’s technical services and providing training recommendations.

  • Host and perform customer-facing technical training on routine and upcoming technology changes.

  • Work in parallel with technical teams and associated training efforts to remain current with the release of new tool functionality.

  • Research and prepare technical/user manuals to support training efforts for manufacturer releases (e.g., Microsoft).

  • Gather course evaluations, consolidate feedback, and provide metrics for application team developers and course instructors.

  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies, tools, and techniques to ensure courses are up to date and loaded within the IT Self-Service Portal.

  • Develop standardized and templated training material to ensure consistency of customer-provided training.

  • Track and report on knowledge article/training material usage within the self-service portal.

  • Design courses, webinars, and computer-based training for new technology releases, including all training materials.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain/maintain EOD Suitability Clearance

  • BA + 8 years of experience

  • A minimum of 4 years experience as a Training Specialist, Training Instructor, Training Manager, or Web-based Training Developer

  • Experience with the government contracting industry

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and engineers

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Captivate or other training development tools

  • Initiative – proactively establishing relationships, setting up workshops, finding opportunities to innovate and improve value, as well as providing new ideas for improvement

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v4 Certification

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Experience with Azure, M365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, and O365

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
